Unity of Berkeley is an inclusive and positive spiritual community dedicated to the universal principles of Truth and living in Divine love and Spiritual Abundance. Our spiritual community is relatively new to Berkeley and to our home on Holy Hill. We are always happy to welcome new friends to our Sunday morning service and to our many classes, events, and workshops throughout the week. If you are not nearby geographically, but feel a kinship with our mission and philosophy, you can sign up for our email newsletter and listen to our weekly services from wherever you are. Through the blessing of technology, we are able to stay connected as brothers and sisters in God consciousness.

We are a very active community and offer weekly meditations, evening classes, regular concerts, food and fellowship, prayer support through our Prayer Chaplain Program, community outreach, a dynamic children’s program, and great creative ministries that are expanding as more and more artists join our spiritual family.

My own spiritual journey has grown deeper over the past twenty years as I have come to know and practice the teachings of Unity.  My first contact with Unity was hearing someone in a 12-Step meeting share about her church.  She seemed so much more “together” than I felt at the time,  so I asked her to take me with her one Sunday.

That was the beginning of a journey that led me to leave behind my real estate brokerage for a leap of faith into spiritual teaching and eventually into starting a Unity ministry.  Along the way I studied with Matthew Fox and received my Doctorate in Ministry at the University of Creation Spirituality, now Wisdom University.

I love to dig into the experience of the Presence of Spirit.  The Unity saying “One God, Many Paths” is a call to each of us to find our personal Divine connection and to live from that deep ocean, drawing from our inner wellsprings and sharing our unique blessings with the world.

Together we will share how the positive, practical understanding of God that is Unity’s way of life, can guide, inspire, nurture and heal us, day by day, moment by moment.  I hope you will join us, Sundays at 10:30 in Berkeley, or listen on the web
