10:00am meditation

The Year is still fresh and things are still erupting within us. The intuition plies us with new possibilities–it pushes us from bed and peppers us with ideas. This is part of living–to be responding to the tide of ideas and possibilities in the world. At the same time, the sense of possibility can be maddening. How do we manage the vast opportunities of a free life–and remain kind and sane? Eric will approach these themes, utilizing wisdom from the traditions of Christianity, Tantra and American pragmatic philosophy.

The Care and Feeding of WordPress, March 17 & 24

How you present yourself in cyberspace can determine how you land your next job or meet your next business partner. Thanks to WordPress, maintaining your own website is easy. All manner of photographers, designers, creatives, consultants and professionals now claim a WP site as their online presence, often integrating social media as part of their site.

This class will focus on the organization and maintanence required and how dashboard elements relate to the end product. We will use the structure of our own church’s web site as one of many examples how things work from the administrative side, de-mystifying many of the more advanced features and capabilities of WordPress. The class assumes zero familiarity with website languages or content management systems.

Two Saturdays in March, 3/17 and 3/24, 10:00 a.m. – noon. $20 suggested love offering; all proceeds go to Unity of Berkeley.

Tim McGraw is a consultant specializing in business-to-business marketing and has been self-employed for most of his professional life. A native of Kansas City, Mo., he has been a Berkeley resident since 1996 and has been active in Unity of Berkeley since 2002.
