A SALE OF GREAT GIFTS
to benefit Unity of Berkeley

Saturday, December 5, noon-4PM
Sunday, December 6, noon-3PM

Gnosco the Knowing Gnome” dispenses his great wisdom and lends a special mood to this gala holiday gift sale. You are invited to donate special items in good condition (books, housewares, jewelry, you name it) to be sold as gifts or raffled off. You can also sell your handmade arts and crafts, books you’ve authored, or professional services, donating 10% of the proceeds to Unity. Rent a half ($25) or full ($40) table to display your wares.

Come do your holiday shopping with us and enjoy music of the season, cookies and hot beverages, and merry-making galore — and be sure to bring your friends!

Sunday, December 20, after Sunday Service (12:30PM)
Christmas Sing-along
A time to celebrate the holiday in true Unity style, singing, sipping eggnog, and nibbling cookies. Come and share a joyous get-together with our Unity family. Lyrics to favorite carols will be provided. All are welcome, so bring your friends and loved ones!

December 24, 8PM
Christmas Eve Candlelighting Service

This beautiful candlelit service is a favorite tradition at Unity of Berkeley. Come and feel the power of light and love. Reverend Patricia offers an evening of reflection, peace, and joy — and invites you to receive a 12 Power Card to guide the next year of your life journey. The Unity Choir — UNITAS: Sacred Sounds, under the direction of Francine Lancaster — will fill the night with gorgeous song. You are welcome to bring family and friends and experience the true meaning of Christmas.

December 29, 10:30AM
Burning Bowl Ceremony

Another cherished annual event, this celebration/release of the old year and all it held, followed by welcoming the New Year and all things to come, is a moving experience under the loving guidance of Reverend Patricia. Rosana Schutte will offer beautiful songs of inspiration.

December 31, 4AM
World Peace Meditation
In the wee hours of the morning on December 31, join the Unity family in celebrating the New Year with quiet and thoughtful purpose. We gather on the last morning of the year to speak our gratitude for past events and establish a positive vision for ourselves, our communities, and the world in 2010. This beautiful affirmation of life will feed your soul!
