Writing a wisdom legacy letter is a wonderful way to share your life
wisdom with your family, friends and those who come after you. It’s like
writing a love letter that shares: Your values, what you’ve learned from
your experiences, your hopes and blessings for future generations, your
love and forgiveness for yourself and others.
You can write a wisdom legacy letter at almost any age—people often
write them at key points in their lives: Marriage, expecting a child,
career change, empty-nest, middle age and beyond, becoming a
grandparent, end of life.
The class focuses on drafting your own wisdom legacy letter and includes
sample wisdom legacy letters, exercises to help you explore and clarify
what you’d like to say, and sharing and discussion.
