Two Divine Divas
Friday, October 16 ~ 8pm
Francine Lancaster and Rosana Schutte
Heavenly! Funny! Passionate! Moving! Hot!
Two dynamic energies explode onstage in the Unity of Berkeley sanctuary. Francine and Rosana will amaze and delight you with classic operatic duets and songs from contemporary musical genres, offering comic and poignant insights into life’s little dramas. There will be plenty of humor, not to mention chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne at a 6:30 reception before the performance.
Francine Lancaster has performed all over the world as a professional opera diva, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York. She was recently certified as a sound therapist through the California Institute of Integral Studies
Rosana Schutte has also performed all over the world as a professional singer, including the Sydney Opera House. She continues to perform one-woman cabarets as her favorite medium.
These two women combine the joy of singing with the love that heals to offer you a fun, exciting, and touching night of entertainment.
Ellen Hoffman will complete the trio as accompanist, lending her gift as a talented pianist. She will perform as a solo artist, as well, adding her magic to the mix. Charles Moselle and Tad Toomay will also contribute their musical talents to this amazing evening of song.
Benefit for Unity of Berkeley. Suggested donation: $30 (no one turned away for lack of funds)
